Every race you add becomes part of your season: it feeds your daily recommendations, your fuelling guidance, and any plan you build from then on. The priority you choose decides how far the plan bends toward it.
Your main goal. The plan builds toward it, tapers fully, and peaks on its date. One per season is enough.
Secondary. You want a good result, so you get a short sharpening beforehand but no full taper. The build toward your A race continues.
Along the way. Treated as hard training: no taper, no interruption to the plan.
Most races in a season are B and C. You can change a priority at any time, including after the race is already on your calendar.
Works on your phone and in the browser alike.
Open Race History.
The trophy icon in the top row of your Training Log.
Tap the + button in the top corner.
The Add Competition dialog opens.
Fill in the Competition name and pick a date.
Both are required. A race without a date is not yet a fact on your calendar.
Choose the Sport.
The sport decides which distances are offered in the next step.
Pick a Priority: A Race, B Race or C Race.
B is the default, because that is what most races in a season are.
Add the distance, if you know it.
For a fixed-time event, switch the format to Timed race and pick the clock (6h, 12h, 24h). There the clock is fixed and the distance is the outcome, not the other way round.
Save. The race is now on your calendar and in your race list.
In the browser calendar: right-click the day heading, the strip at the top of a day column carrying its name and date, and choose Add Competition. The same dialog opens, with the date already filled in.
If the race is already planned as a workout, there is no need to add it twice. Open the session, turn on the Race / Competition switch, pick the priority and save. You will see Saved to your race calendar.
A session that is not scheduled on a date will ask for a date first.
We show Significant impact on your plan with a short summary of what changes. You can cancel, or continue with Add anyway and get the proposed adjustments to review.
An A race is a main goal, so this is a change of goal rather than a local adjustment. We ask you explicitly, and you choose Just add the race to leave the plan as it is, or Add and revise plan to build a new plan toward it.
B and C races never replace your goal. At most you will be asked to confirm their effect on the surrounding weeks.
Nothing here is locked in. In Race History, under Upcoming races, open any future race to:
If the change materially affects your active plan, you get the same question you got when adding, before it takes effect.
Endy reads your race list. Ask "what races do I have coming up?" or "how should I fuel for the half in three weeks?" and you get an answer from your actual races, priorities included. Adding one is done in Race History.
